Frequently Asked Questions
Is this just for Christians?
Not at all. In fact, much of the material was developed with the agnostic or atheist reader in mind. It’s for anyone who wants to think critically about Jesus and the claims of Christianity—regardless of background.
How is the evidence presented?
The booklet and presentation draw from the work of credible Christian and non-Christian historians specialising in 1st century Judea and Galilee. Topics such as the reliability of the New Testament, archaeological discoveries, and the early belief in the resurrection are explored in a logical and accessible way.
Is it really free?
Yes. You can download the PDFs at no cost. If you attend a live presentation, you’ll receive a free printed copy. And if you’d like physical copies posted to you, just ask—we’ll send them free within the UK (subject to availability).
What about other religions?
If you look at ANY of the major world religions they all make exclusive truth claims. Indeed atheism makes exclusive truth claims just like all the major world religions. For example an atheist might say today: “There is no God (or there are no gods). Other religions can have value and worth, but ultimately they are incorrect in that they require the existence of God or gods. Only atheism can provide a path to a truthful view of the universe and our lives in it.” Is that not an exclusive truth claim?
If we can agree that all major world religions and atheism make exclusive truth claims, then the question is: “which one, if any, is correct?” Perhaps a good place to start is the hard evidence for each and see how they stack up? Perhaps Jesus: The Evidence is a good place to start?
How can I host a presentation?
If you’d like to bring Jesus: The Evidence to your group, church or venue, please get in touch using our booking form.
Presentations are offered free of charge and can be tailored to different age groups or settings.
Isn’t the Bible full of contradictions?
Many people assume the Bible is unreliable because of perceived contradictions. In reality, most of these are minor differences in detail or emphasis between different authors, particularly in the Gospels. Rather than undermining credibility, these variations often support authenticity—just like in eyewitness accounts of real events. The core message across the Bible remains consistent, especially concerning who Jesus is and what he did.
What makes Jesus different from other religious leaders?
Unlike other founders of major world religions, Jesus didn’t just teach moral truths—he claimed to be the Son of God and predicted his own death and resurrection. The evidence for these claims, particularly the resurrection, is what sets Jesus apart. If the resurrection really happened, it confirms his identity and authority in a way no other religious figure claims.
Why does this matter to me personally?
If Jesus really did rise from the dead, then Christianity isn’t just a set of beliefs—it’s based on a real historical event with eternal implications. It means God has revealed himself in history, and Jesus offers hope, forgiveness, and new life to everyone who turns to him. Exploring this evidence isn’t just an academic exercise—it’s a personal invitation to discover truth that can transform your life.
